Finalist in Two Categories - The American Prize

I'm pleased to announce that I am a finalist in two categories for the American Prize. Both Flowers of Salt (chamber) and Fire and Ice (choir) have moved on to the final round for the prize.

Winner of Best Submission at ICMC

January 01, 2020

Frayed Cities was selected as the winner of Best Submission from the Americas Region at the 2015 International Computer Music Conference held at Univerisity of North Texas.

2015 Hermitage Prize

August 12, 2015

The faculty at the Aspen Music Festival and School awarded Phillip Sink the 2015 Hermitage Prize, which consists of a $1,000 stipend and a six-week residency at the Hermitage Artist Retreat in Florida.

Phillip Sink's Flowers of Salt advanced to the final round of the American Prize in the category of chamber music. Also, his choir piece, Fire and Ice was selected as a semi-finalist in the choral composition category.
